Knights and Dames may request a Mass be offered in one of the Parishes, Churches or Shrines in the Holy Land for special intentions. Each Lieutenancy gathers these mass intention cards and forwards them to the Latin Patriarchate.  The Latin Patriarchate divides these cards among the many churches and parishes providing them with a much appreciated extra source of income.

Most requests are for bereavements, illnesses or other health issues, birthdays, baptisms, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, etc.
