By tradition, a candidate for the Order is nominated by someone who is already a member of the Order. Current members recommend practicing Catholics in Communion with the Holy See who have:
1. Shown great devotion to the Church,
2. A desire to progress in their personal sanctification and
3. The financially ability to support our very special mission: to work for the Church’s survival and development, in the Holy Lands.
Nominations are processed by the Lieutenancy and ultimately approved by the Vatican. The process starts in the Lieutenancy that has jurisdiction for the city of residency for the nominee.
